The World Health Organization and AARP work together with Age-Friendly DC to highlight employers that provide accessible facilities, respectful and well-trained personnel, and tailored products and services that meet the needs of the 50+ demographic in Washington, DC.

Help DC become Age-Friendlier by:

  • Engaging with Age-Friendly Employers (e.g., utilizing their services, products, or resources).

  • Using our Best Practices Checklist to create physical facilities and online platforms that are as accessible as possible.

  • Nominating an employer you believe should become an Age-Friendly Employer by sending an email to Gail Kohn: [email protected].

  • Applying now, if you are an employer by completing the Age Friendly Employer Application Form
