Using our Best Practices Checklist to create physical facilities and online platforms that are as accessible as possible.

- Ensure their facilities are easily accessible, with features like non-slip surfaces, wide aisles, and wheelchair accommodations.
- Provide clear signage, adequate lighting, and customer service desks in easily visible, accessible locations.
- Offer respectful and helpful customer service, including greeters or staff who assist with accessibility needs, such as reaching shelved items.
- Provide employment and training opportunities for older adults, ensuring an inclusive workplace.
- Tailor products and services to meet the needs of older adults, including offering discounts, smaller portions, large-print materials, and delivery services.
- Maintain websites that are easy to navigate, with large text, read-aloud options, and multi-language support.
