AFDC DC Strategic Plan

The 2024-2028 Age-Friendly DC Strategic Plan builds on the findings from the AFDC 2018-2023 Strategic Plan Progress Evaluation Report. It aims to enhance the aging experience for all residents by improving the built environment, fostering positive attitudes towards aging, and ensuring lifelong health and security

Age-Friendly DC Task Force

Mayor Muriel Bowser released the Age-Friendly DC 2018-2023 Task Force Progress Evaluation Report. Please take the time to read how DC has changed. DC agencies, community organizations and well over 2,000 individuals helped us identify progress in accordance with goals and strategies established in 2018.

Over the past five years Age-Friendly DC has taken on the issues Washingtonians have said are most important.
